Boomer Girl Fashion

What is it about turning 60 that makes it so difficult to take off those extra pounds? Over the years, I've put on a pound a year. Luckily I was a waif to start with. What can you do about fashion when most of the clothes in your closet don't fit?

I've got about four good outfits. My solution has been to create jewelry that makes a statement. One day I found that I had way too much jewelry and started to sell it. The philosophy is to create versatile pieces that will add color to basic black, beige, navy, or white.

It's been a lot of fun to start a business that feels like a necessity! If anyone has suggestions about what I could create, I'd love to hear from you! What are you looking for, Boomer Girl?

Boomer Girl Fashion

Don't you sometimes wish you didn't need to search for new clothes?  After all, we're a little too old for Gossip Girl fashion, and we're way too young to give up!  So why not simply stick to basics?  Lately I've discovered that I can purchase beautiful Misook items on ebay for a fraction of what they'd cost retail.

I just add a few pieces of bold jewelry purchased at B.BOLD Jewelry for Boomer Girls, and I'm set to go!  The fashions by Marcia Southwick are energetic, classic, elegant, and yet they've got a wild touch--perfect for our spirited 50's, 60's and beyond!
